how do i start my own gardening maintenance business?

hi ive always been a keen gardener.i do all the families gardens.i can lay decking and build fences aswel so i was thinking of starting up my own business.i would just start basic stuff like cutting trimmer etc.do you think it would work?…i think im really looking for some encouragment!!
anyone know which would be the best college course to give me a better understanding and at least have some sort of qualification.

Here’s a slightly more helpful answer. Try and get an ad in your local newspaper. Design up and print some leaflets and pop through doors – evenings are best to do this. If you do it during the day, chances are people will come home from a long day at work and just see something lying on their mat, and will simply bin without really taking a look. Later in the evening, chances are people have had tea and relaxed making them more inquisitive to your flyer.

Get online, make it as Google friendly as you can.

Remember, with all your advertising and website, it all represents you. If your advertising and design is poor, chances are people will think your service and quality is poor.

But just go with it, run to te hills and don’t let anyone side-swipe you.
